I called the Illawarra Mercury and found their pricing out of our reach in terms of advertising for a month.

So my next plight was with The Advertiser - same poop, different bucket. Or that's what i appeared to believe. Every person i spoke with from their sales team gave me different pricing - oh how i wish i actually recorded the conversations for comedic purposes.

XFactor has been decided and Altiyan Childs has been crowned; however, i cannot help but think that both Sally Chatfield and  Andrew Lawson deserved a record contract, too. They both have exceptional vocals in their own rights.

Took the kids to this show today - opted for the 1pm show. My oldest daughter's friend from school was sitting behind us.

All in all the kids were having fun and we all enjoyed ourselves; you know it's okay if the kids are clapping, cheering and generally glued to their seats, and aren't asking to go home.

For anyone wanting to go to see any animals -- like the good old days -- all we saw were four little ponies; can't speak for the evening shows though.
